La Zattera

San Vincenzo has a lucky geographical position, it takes few hours to reach some of the most famous and beautiful Tuscany towns: Florence, Pisa, Volterra, Siena, Lucca, Livorno.
With half an hour trip you are at the Gulf of Baratti with its archaeological park and Etruscan necropolis, Populonia mediaeval village and the castle.
Ten kms. far from our villa there is also the San Silvestro arcaeo-mining park, the only one in Europe. All around San Vincenzo woods and the beach are criss-crossed with trails for walking, hiking and horse riding.

There are many interesting mediaeval village such as Campiglia Marittima and Suvereto which are only two of them, there you can find all over the year open-air typical markets and folk-festivals framed into the typical alleys and cloisters.
